One frame from our session with Erica + Kyle yesterday…. La Jolla is pretty perfect at dusk….
Every now and then we come home from a wedding, and just sigh at how lovely the day was. We photographed Therese + Chris at The French Estate in Orange, CA this past Sunday – here’s a little teaser from the day. I really mean it when I say, I cannot wait to share the rest of the photos soon….
Here’s an afternoon spent chasing light at the amazing Mission Inn in Riverside. If you’re looking for a stunner of a venue for your wedding, you might want to consider this one.
There are certain jackpots of wedding photography; A lovely, well dressed bride and groom. A jolly extended family. Blue skies. Warm-cool weather, slight breeze. Lots of time. Beautiful details. Several locations. Manhattan. This was the case last October when we were invited to photograph Roseann, a vivacious wedding and lifestyle photographer, and Thomas, a thoughtful photojournalist for Verdens Gang. An afternoon traipsing around town taking photos, a moving ceremony, and finishing the evening off with dinner at Locanda Verde with their friends and family. What a day it was, and how lucky we are to share in such incredible experiences with wonderful people. This wedding was recently featured in Junebug Weddings.

Today we’re sharing our first wedding of 2015 with you. These two madly in love birds were so fantastic to spend the day with – there was so much joy and celebration to be had! Kayla and Dillon actually eloped last year, but spent the year planning their big day so they could celebrate with their friends and families before jetting off to Japan. Even though it was an afternoon wedding, the party did not stop. I like to think that every wedding has a song – a tune that will always remind me of the day and the couple we photographed. Well. If Kayla and Dillon’s day had to have a theme song, dare I say it might be Harlem Shake. The second the beat dropped, the party/dancing/cheersing started and kept going (until the staff had to politely tell the DJ time was up). Every time I hear that song, I’ll forever remember Kayla taking the dance floor front and centre, and orchestrating the time of her life! So much love for these two in all their adventures. Enjoy the photos below. A quick photo of Vivian and Frank, after their beautiful union Ace Hotel & Swim Club in Palm Springs, California. We so enjoyed spending the day with these two. Great taste, over-the-moon-happy, emotional as all get out, awesome partiers, partners, and very loving families. One of our faves for sure – we’ll be sharing their full wedding soon enough….
